Scale By Chris Toyota SR5 Glue In Tail Light Buckets W/LED Lights (Pro-Line SR5)

These Scale By Chris Toyota SR5 Glue In Tail Light Buckets include pre-installed 5mm 12V LED lights to make it super easy to add another dimension of scale detail to your SR5 build! The red and amber LEDs are perfect for brake and running lights and are open ended, allowing you to install the connector you prefer. The blank center hole can be fitted with a 5mm back up light for even more detail. The light buckets measure approximately 39×25.5×10.5mm, and can be secured using a rubberized glue, or silicone. Installation requires you leave the tail light area on the body clear. See instructions below for details. 

Precision printed at .2mm layer thickness with 20% infill, Scale by Chris scale accessories are designed, printed and hand detailed in house. Printed in small batches, nothing with the SBC name is ever outsourced, meaning Chris puts his hands on every part before it goes out the door. All this effort is done to create a higher quality finished product, with the details you need to take your build to the next level.

NOTE: As is the case with most 3D printed items, some light finish work may be needed to remove excess material. Simply use a sharp hobby knife to carefully remove small strings and straggler layer lines as needed.

Instructions:

1. Mask off tail light area so the lens area remains clear when you paint the body.
2. After painting the body, mask off the individual brake light, and blinker light sections. Use clear red and yellow candy colored paints to paint the lens areas on the body.
3. After paint has dried, use silicone to glue light bucket in place.
4. Install 5mm LED lights using shoe goo or similar adhesive to hold LEDs secure.
